1. From paradise to the happiest place on earth. The Pro Bowl was hosted in Hawaii every year since 1979 except two. That is, until the NFL moved the event to Orlando in 2017. Either way, we’re sure most of these guys are just happy to be getting out of the cold. #GoingToDisneyWorld
  2. #RavensFlock, literally. The Baltimore Ravens have 12 (!!!) players headed to the Pro Bowl this weekend. That ties an NFL record for most EVER in the initial roster release. No surprise, these guys had the most wins in the NFL.
  3. And then there were 30…30 teams represented that is. We all know players on the teams competing in the Super Bowl aren’t allowed to play in the Pro Bowl, but did you know that the only two teams to not have a player selected for Sunday’s festivities are the Dolphins and the Giants?
  4. Wait…someone’s missing. For the first time since 2008, Tom Brady won’t be appearing in the Pro Bowl. Not to worry though, he’s still tied for the most Pro Bowl selections with 14 in his career. #GOAT
  5. Life is good. Saints QB Drew Brees will appear in his 13th (!) career Pro Bowl this Sunday.  That’s enough for the second most appearances by an active player. To add to the fanfare, his son Baylen is super excited to meet superstar Lamar Jackson, and we can’t wait to see that exchange!

I created Fangirl Sports Network as a place for female sports fans to follow their favorite teams with content and coverage that speaks directly to females. It started with one and then eight and now 32 NFL Fangirls and 15 NBA Fangirls.
