What’s Up Mobsquad? Yikes that was UGLY! The Los Angles Rams fell extremely short to the New Orleans Saints, and it seemed as if everything that was getting better all season just fell apart. And you want to know what the worst part is? This week, our Rams our off to New England to play Tom Brady and the Patriots! I can’t even give notes on how to win, but in this week’s Talking Touchdowns game preview, I give you a quick look at the matchup, including:
- Tom Brady and the Patriots are coming off a win over the New York Jets. Brady went 30 of 50 for 286 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. Brady has many options of solid targets in Julian Edelman, James White, Martelllus Bennet, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola. This week might be a bloodbath folks!
- Now, the Los Angeles Rams defense seemed as if they completely lost their way this week. The Saints scored more points against the Rams than any other team this season with their 42 points. I have no words of encouragement for the defense, other than they need to make a 180 degree change to have any shot at holding off Tom Brady and his prolific offense.
- What I will say is that Jared Goff looked better. He went 20 of 32 for 214 yards and three touchdowns. He also had one interception and lost a fumble, which was a very clear sign that he is a rookie quarterback by the way. Goff will need to have his best game and keep his hands on the ball as the Patriots were able to force two turnovers against the Jets.
