Tips & Tricks: Enjoy the Game No Matter How the 49ers Play

By September 30, 2016 No Comments

Hello my Faithful friends! I don’t want to alarm you, but the 2016 San Francisco 49ers’ season is looking eerily familiar to the 2015 season. This brings both good news and bad news. The bad news is obvious. The good news is we have seen this movie, we’re prepared, and we know how to get through it.

Let me give you some tips and tricks to have fun watching Sunday’s game, no matter how the Niners play.

1) My first tip begins with a drinking game. You’ll have to watch for the details, but whether you drink alcohol or water or soda, you will have many opportunities to drink and many opportunities to go to the bathroom, meaning you’ll miss most of the football game! You’re welcome.

2) Play a 49ers’ trivia game with your friends, such as when was the last time the 49ers looked prepared for a football game? The answer, week 1! Yay! And the time before that? Week 1 of 2015. Oh. Maybe stick to player birthdays. Joe Montana was born on June 11, 1956!

3) Make other plans so you don’t have to watch the game. Put together a nice brunch with people who don’t know Jimmie Ward from Jimmy Buffett. You will thank me after a few mimosas and an omelette.

4) Watch a different game. May I suggest the Los Angeles Rams? While you’re watching them, make sure to follow @theramsfangirl!

5) Remember that you are a Faithful fan, win or lose, and try to enjoy the fact that it’s Sunday and there’s a football game on. Good luck.

Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and my podcast. And make sure you enter the giveaway for 49ers tickets between now and the end of the month.
