Rams vs. Cardinals: Let’s Make it Three

By September 29, 2016 No Comments

Hey Rams Fans!! You are not dreaming. The Rams won on the road, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they scored touchdowns! Our Los Angeles Rams are now 2-1 and currently sit atop the NFC West. This week, the Rams stay on the road and travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. This is an important one Ramily.

First, this is a very important divisional matchup against the struggling Arizona Cardinals who are coming off of a brutal 33-18 loss to the Buffalo Bills, where quarterback Carson Palmer uncharacteristically threw four interceptions and had ZERO passing touchdowns. Seeing the Cardinals have started 1-2 thus far in 2016, you can BET they will look to bounce back against the Rams this week.

This Rams earned themselves a GUSTY win over the Buccs after the 1 hour and 10 minute weather delay, as they were able to hold off the surging Buccs for a 37-32 victory. Although not incredibly efficient, the Rams were finally able to move the ball on the ground and through the air.

Case Keenum will look to improve on his solid week three performance against the NFL’s 12th ranked Cardinals defense. Receivers Brian Quick, Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt have their work cut out for them against the Cards’ Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu this week.

The Rams MUST win the time of possession battle this week and keep the Cardinals high octane offense off the field as much as possible. What does this mean? MORE TODD GURLEY!

Gurley had two rushing touchdowns against Tampa Bay and rushed for 85 yards on 27 carries. Offense as a whole needs to be more efficient and still has work to do, but they are trending in right direction much like the team. This brings me to my game prediction!

I am once again giving the win to the Rams because like I just said, I think the team is trending in the right direction. Also, did you see how excited Jeff Fisher was after that that win over the Buccs, I think he will do whatever it takes to get that feeling back for Week 4. Say it with me Ramily, GO RAMS!!

Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and this is the last week to enter for a chance to see the Rams take on the Dolphins!

Go Rams!
