Broncos Nation, as you well know, the weather in Colorado is ALWAYS changing! So I thought I’d be a helpful Colorado Native and bring you some tips and tricks to looking good and staying comfortable at the game.
A huge key to staying comfortable and prepared for anything at the big game is LAYERS!
Let’s start from the bottom up; I recommend a closed toed shoe no matter the weather, because you never know what puddle of spilled beer or overturned nacho cheese you’ll encounter. If it’s a warm day in the Mile High City, Chucks are the way to go, but if you feel the brisk mountain air rolling in, plan on a pair of Uggs.
Next are bottoms, and my bottom is a little more robust than most, so I prefer to wear leggings. The key here is to find the right pair of leggings that have a good fit, are not see-through and, most importantly, are comfortable. My go to pair are a pair from Lululemon. They offer a snug fit, adorable patterning on the bottom and POCKETS. Leggings with pockets are the best thing since sliced bread.
Now for the tops. I chose this adorable shirt I received from Fangirl by Megan….check her out on the ‘gram @fangirlbymegan. I LOVE the lace up top. It makes it sporty but feminine at the same time. I always struggle to find women’s fit team attire that actually fits well, but this one is a winner.
I like to add a sweater over the top because it may be 90 and sunshine at kick off, but come the third quarter, it could be 65 with a potential snow fall. (That’s Colorado for ya) I think a striped pattern always give an outfit a little pop!
To seal the deal, a jacket is a must, and I found this gem in my grandparents closest. A classic Broncos denim jacket, with the old school logo on the back. It’s a tad bigger than what I would normally wear but with the layers underneath it’s sure to keep you warm and team spirited.
So no matter how the team looks on Sunday, I can guarantee you’ll look good!
