By November 17, 2017 No Comments

Hey, Mobsquad. So my fellow Trojan, Rams wide receiver Robert Woods, had himself quite the day on Sunday vs. the Texans. It seems only appropriate to get to know him a little better. Here are 5 Fun Facts about Robert Woods.

Fact #1: Robert Woods was born in Carson, California and attended Junipero Serra High School in Gardena. Of course he played football there, but he was also an impressive track star. His 400 meters time of 46.17 ranked him #4 in the USA.

Fact #2: Robert Woods attended the University of Southern California and shined as a wide receiver. He was of one of three finalists for the 2011 Maxwell Award.

Fact #3:  When asked about his most memorable catch in college, he explained that it was his record-breaking catch against Colorado. Another fun fact, I was at this game. Both Robert Woods and Matt Barkley were about to break huge records at the game and stars like Keyshawn Johnson, Chris Paul & Blake Griffin were shown giving shoutouts in a video at the Coliseum. It was a day to remember!

Fact #4: Robert Woods favorite pregame meal is not what you would think it might be. His favorite pregame meal is sour patch kids and some red vines. Everyone needs a little sugar rush before the game right?

Fact #5: If he wasn’t a NFL football player, he would be a real estate investor and possibly flip houses. And yes, he watches HGTV.

He’s definitely a fun and interesting guy. I can’t wait to watch him get to the end zone many more times as a Los Angeles Ram!!
