Rams Looking for Less Offensive Offense vs. Falcons (NFL Week 14)

By December 8, 2016 No Comments

We got some exciting news this weekend Ramily!! Jeff Fisher is officially staying as the Rams head coach for two more years! WOO! KIDDING. It made the terrible loss to the Patriots even worse. But, we must move on because the Rams still have four games to play this season. This week the Atlanta Falcons come to town and hopefully we can make some improvements.

  • The never-ending story of the struggling Rams offense continues! Jared Goff went 14 of 32 for 162 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Also, in the first half the Rams had 25 yards of total offense, the fewest by a team in a game this season! Now I’m looking ahead as they will battle the Falcons defense Sunday!
  • The Atlanta Falcons are coming off of a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Rams will be up against a sub-par defense as the Falcons are ranked 28th in the league in total defense. This week, Goff will need to get the ball into the hands of any of his targets as quickly as possible. I think a key this week will be to score early for this Rams offense.
  • On the other side of the ball, the Rams defense will be up against a stellar offense that is ranked third in the NFL in total offense. The Rams defense has a big job, as they try to stop star quarterback Matt Ryan. In his last game, Matt Ryan went 22 of 34 for 297 yards, one touchdown and one interception. This is where the Rams defense will have to perform. They must force turnovers!
